1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any services provided by ALT TECH DIGITAL INNOVATION (“ALT TECH,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Description of Services

ALT TECH provides a range of technology services including but not limited to:

• Software Development and IT Consulting
• Website and Mobile Application Development
• Digital Marketing and Graphic Design
• Computer Maintenance and Software Installation
• Academy Programs, Bootcamps, and Training
• Internship Opportunities
• Tech Talks and Community Events

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

3. Academy and Training Programs

3.1 Enrollment

Enrollment in any ALT TECH Academy program, bootcamp, or training course requires completion of the application process and payment of applicable fees.

3.2 Code of Conduct

All students must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which includes:

• Respect for instructors, staff, and fellow students
• Academic integrity – no plagiarism or cheating
• Professional behavior in all interactions
• Attendance and participation requirements

3.3 Certificates

Certificates of completion are awarded to students who successfully meet all program requirements, including attendance, assignments, and assessments.

4. Payments and Refunds

4.1 Fees

All fees for services, academy programs, and other offerings are as quoted at the time of purchase. We accept payments via bank transfer, mobile money, and other methods as specified.

4.2 Refund Policy

For academy programs and bootcamps:

• Cancellation up to 7 days before start date: 100% refund
• Cancellation less than 7 days before start date: 50% refund
• After program commencement: No refunds

For service contracts, refunds are handled according to the specific agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ALT TECH and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

5.2 Client Work

For custom development projects, intellectual property rights are transferred to the client upon full payment. We retain the right to display work in our portfolio.

5.3 Student Work

Students retain ownership of projects created during academy programs. However, we may use anonymized projects for educational and promotional purposes.

6. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALT TECH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use our services
• Any conduct or content of any third party
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Any other matter relating to our services

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. Sections relating to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law shall survive termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Uganda, located in Kampala.
