Albert saw a recurring problem across the Ugandan tech landscape brilliant minds with limited access to practical training, businesses struggling to adapt to digital transformation, and a massive opportunity waiting to be unlocked. From this observation, ALT TECH was born.

Albert Ahereza establishes ALT TECH DIGITAL INNOVATION with a mission to bridge the digital skills gap in Uganda. The company begins operations with a focus on practical tech training and software development.
First Academy Launch
ALT TECH Academy opens its doors to the first cohort of students, offering practical training in web development, mobile apps, and digital skills.
Today: Growing Strong
ALT TECH now serves clients across Uganda, offers multiple academy programs, and continues to expand its impact on the local tech ecosystem.
